 Harvard University Major Intakes 

Harvard University offers admissions for two main intakes, Fall and Spring, both open to Indian students. 

  • Fall : Fall is the main semester, starting in late August or early September. It is the most popular time to enrol at Harvard, and the application deadlines are typically in early November of the preceding year.

  • Spring: The Spring semester starts in January. While it is less popular than the Fall semester, it is still a good option for students who want to start their studies in the middle of the academic year. The application deadlines for the Spring semester are usually in early December.

Harvard does not have a summer intake for undergraduate students. However, they offer summer school programs for undergraduate and graduate students. These programs allow students to take courses for credit and explore different academic interests.

University Work-Study Programs

Harvard University offers work-study opportunities through the Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP). This need-based financial aid program helps students earn money to help cover college costs.

Here's what you need to know about Harvard University's Work-Study program:

Eligibility: To be eligible for the FSWP at Harvard, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need. Your financial aid award letter will show your work-study award amount if you qualify.

Job hours allowed: Students can work up to 20 hours per week for all their FWS jobs combined during the academic year. Students can work up to 40 hours per week during official university breaks.

Rate of Pay: The minimum wage for FWS jobs is the federal minimum wage, which is currently $7.25 per hour. However, some employers may pay more depending on the position and the student's experience.
