About the University

The National College of Ireland is a not-for-profit and third-level college in Dublin. The college was founded in 1951 and has been established as a joint venture between Irish trade unions and Jesuits in Ireland. Citing its academic excellence, the university has been accredited by several ranking agencies namely, QQI, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, HETAC, NCEA and Jesuits. The college is home to 6,000 students.

Founded in 1951, the National College of Ireland (NCI) has transformed from the Catholic Workers College, Dublin, into a thriving, state-funded institution.  This non-profit college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, both full-time and part-time to international students. The campus is spread across a total area of 0.8 acres.

Located in Dublin's vibrant city centre, NCI has two campuses, Mayor Square and Spencer Dock, which are a convenient 3-minute walk from each other.  This prime location offers easy access to public transportation.
